GB Junior Goalkeeper Rory Mylroi Joins Surbiton

Surbiton HC is delighted to announce that up and coming GB EDP goalkeeper Rory Mylroi will join the M1 squad for the 2026/27 season.
Rory has junior international experience with England U18 and England/GB U21s, including at the recent Junior World Cup, and arrives at Sugden Road having been playing National League level hockey at Sevenoaks HC.
Rory says, “I am really looking forward to joining Surbiton next season and continuing my hockey development alongside some great players with the high quality training sessions and coaching on offer.”
M1 Head Coach Barry Middleton is pleased to add another talented young goalkeeper to the M1 group: "Rory is a top young goalkeeper. He is a brilliant shot stopper and has a good hockey brain, which helps him read the game so well. Rory has a great mentality and is always wanting to improve so we are excited to give him the environment to fulfil his potential."
