Surbiton HC Community
There are a huge range of opportunities to get involved in club activities above and beyond the obvious; playing hockey. The Club runs a full calendar of social events (details of which can be found on the Calendar section of this site) which you may wish to attend. We are also always looking for additional coaching and umpire support, and there are all sorts of volunteering opportunities (see details below).Community Coaching Programme
The Club is involved in a hugely successful community programme, delivering high quality hockey coaching sessions to neighbouring schools. The programme is run by Suburban Hockey, which has been set up by members of Surbiton HC specifically to work with schools. Find out more about Suburban Hockey from our website suburbanhockey.co.uk
If you are a school and you want to get involved, you can download a document here for more information about what the programme is all about, how to get involved and how to apply.

Volunteering
The Club could not run without the help and support of a number of volunteers and parent helpers. For the coming 2011/12 season we could do with some additional help as a matter of urgency:
- Team mangers to help the coaches with the day-to-day correspondence with parents and Colts
- Colts Umpire Manager who would be responsible for organising the umpires required for Sunday matches.
- Colts Fixtures Secretary
- Events and Fundraising skills
- And any other skills you can offer!
